Honduras – a Traveler's Paradise
There are so many things to experience in Honduras. Looking to our past, there are colonial towns and the Mayan Ruins of Copan. If you enjoy eco-tours, visit the rain forests and experience the natural habitat through canopy tours. Snorkelers and scuba divers truly enjoy the world's second largest barrier reef. There are many dive resorts located on the islands of Utila, Roatan, and Guanaja.
Cruise ships and sailing yachts make regular stops in the Bay Islands. Wind surfing, wetbiking, parasailing, and fishing are also enjoyed in the islands, as well as white-water kayaking and rafting on the mainland. Accommodations in Honduras inlcude hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals in all price ranges. Dining out is fairly inexpensive and there's a wide selection of restaurants including familiar fast-food stops.
